Percentage can be easily calculated by multiplying a given value by 100 and dividing it by the total value. For example, if you want to find out what percentage of 80 is 20, you simply divide 20 by 80 and multiply by 100. The answer, in this case, is 25%, meaning that 20 is 25% of 80. Likewise, to find out what a percentage of a number is, you can multiply the number by the percentage and divide by 100. This is useful for finding discounts or the percentage of an increase in price or quantity. Understanding how to work with percentages is an essential skill that can be applied in many real-world situations.
